ROUTE 1
Direct from Juanda International Airport
Private vehicle
A direct vehicle is usually the simplest option for international travellers, families, groups, or guests carrying luggage after a long flight.
Working estimate: approximately IDR 1,100,000 per vehicle.
Typical journey: often around 5–6 hours, but longer during traffic, holidays, roadworks, rain, stops, or airport delays.

ROUTE 2
Shared Travel to Blitar, Then Continue South
Juanda–Blitar Shared Travel
Previously around IDR 200,000 per person. Reconfirm pickup point, departure time, luggage allowance, passenger collection, vehicle, drop-off point, and current fare.
Blitar–Dikasih Pickup
Approximately IDR 350,000 per vehicle as a working estimate. Confirm whether pickup is at the railway station, hotel, travel office, or another exact location.
Allow Extra Time
Shared vehicles may wait for or collect other passengers, making the journey longer than a direct private transfer.
ROUTE 3
Train to Blitar
Train travel can be practical from Surabaya, Malang, Yogyakarta, Solo, Jakarta, and other railway-connected cities. Schedules change, so use official PT Kereta Api Indonesia channels rather than a permanent timetable copied onto this website.
Before boarding, send Dita the train name or number, departure city, scheduled arrival time, guest count, luggage, and whether pickup is confirmed.
- Check departure and arrival station carefully
- Confirm date, train number, class, identity requirements, luggage, and change rules
- Choose Blitar unless Dita recommends another station
- Contact the driver again before arrival
- Wait in a public, well-lit area and verify the vehicle
OTHER ROUTES
Malang, Independent Vehicles & Motorcycles
Via Malang
Useful when a journey includes Malang, Bromo, Batu, or another East Java connection. The best combination of train, shared travel, or private vehicle depends on time, luggage, and current schedules.
Arriving Independently
Request the current map pin. Rural roads may be narrow, dark, wet, and slower than navigation estimates, with motorcycles, animals, pedestrians, and local traffic.
Motorcycle Travel
Suitable only for experienced riders prepared for rain, sun, fatigue, unfamiliar roads, luggage security, signal interruptions, and proper helmet use. Avoid long rides immediately after an overnight flight.

Rural Travel Preparation
Money
Use more than one payment method when possible. Carry a reasonable amount of Indonesian rupiah for small shops, transport, parking, and emergencies.
Internet
Basic Wi-Fi may fluctuate. Remote workers should prepare an Indonesian SIM, mobile data, offline files, and avoid critical meetings immediately after arrival.
Electricity
Indonesia commonly uses 220 volts and two-round-pin plugs. Ask before using high-power devices and turn off unnecessary equipment when leaving.
